Fundamental News Break: 10/29/2010

What up, what up! Its that time again... you ready? Well, let me start by saying we're in the transition to do a lot of big things for the blog. I, first, am in the verge of getting a whole new look for fundamental.street. I like it, but one of my patnas let me know that it wasn't too appealing... so with that being said; its time for change. Second, I'm taking some strain off my back. In the next few days you'll see a new blogger on deck. Before you get baffled, homie's fam, plus he understands and lives the lifestyle. Be on the look out for our newly added homie, Sir Ill Josh.
Jewelz is still working on The After Affect. All I can say about the project is DOPE. Be looking for that sometime in December. Jay Boy Fresh is still working on Return of Jay Vol. 1. From what I've heard, it'll be an instant classic. It has that hood sound we all love, but its very Hip-Hop. Be looking for it 1st quarter 2011. And me, let's just say I won't disappoint.
Whatever you do in life, PLEASE remember to have fun... its a Fundamental thing,

Alexander James: Drowning In Brands

Photographer Alexander James presents Drowning in Brands, an ode to 10 of the most prominent logos in the world. Most impressive is the technique. “A new underwater series with rippling waves of light and energy moving over the scene. A set of 10 images of iconic global brands recreated in lush rose formations all shot underwater with subtle distortions through the waters own lapping wave energy.” There’s absolutely no post-production work – these are simply photos of roses underwater. Now available at the Alexander James Image Library.

kanYe West x SNL
SNL must've cut the right check for him to change the second verse on Power. Its a lot better than the original, in my opinion. But, on second thought, the original had way more emotion and was way more ass whole-ish. Incredible performances though. I like the way my nigga Pusha is finally getting the recognition he deserves.

MatrimonEy DTX Fall 2010 Preview
Matrimoney Presents... Big Sean Live @ Trees in Dallas
I'm a little pissed I missed the show and all the events prior, but as you can see... it was a very good show. Shout out to the homies Matrimoney and ppog for putting together the footage.
Fundamental News Break: 9/29/2010

I know its been awhile since you all have gotten one of these, but I been a little busy doing this #Fundamental thing, you know... having fun. But some how, in the process, my nigga Jewelz was able to damn near finish his next mixtape entitled "The After Effect". I'm not too sure on the date of release, but there's one thing I know for sure, THE SHITS BANGING!!! I can't wait for the public to hear what I've heard from the project, shits coming out real nice. (Sidebar: There's one track in particular that I already know will be my favorite. I believe its gonna be homies outro... I'm on the hook and the shit is just out of this world).
In other news, Jay Boy Fresh has some heat he's cooking up as well. If my knowledge is correct, his next tape will no longer be titled "Raps & White Owl's", it is now entitled "The Return of Jay". From what I've heard, the project will be nothing less than a hood classic.
As far as myself, my yet to be titled mixtape will be dropping right on time. But while you all are waiting for that... I'll make sure to drop a song here and there for all of your listening pleasure. Matter of fact, be looking for "A King's Song" next week. Trust me... the shit will not disappoint.
Keeping it G til my book of life reads out to the end,
